Our goal for FBCNP Students is to lead students to a personal relationship with Jesus and teach them to apply biblical principles to their lives. We provide a fun and interactive environment for students to learn and grow stronger in their faith. We do this through Bible study, worship, community service and fellowship.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Deacons & Committees
Jesus calls qualified men to serve the church as deacons—a word that is literally translated as “servants.” The office of deacon is first introduced in Acts 6, where the early church appointed deacons to assist pastors with ministry needs and administrative responsibilities.
At First Baptist Norman Park, deacons support the pastoral leadership so that pastors may focus on prayer, teaching, and shepherding God’s people. Qualifications for deacons are outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and include integrity, generosity, spiritual maturity, a well-ordered home, and a good reputation both within and outside the church.
Deacons serve through a nomination and approval process and commit to serving defined terms. In addition, many church members serve on governing committees that help guide every area of ministry within the church.

Church Members: The Heart of Our Ministry
As a biblical local church, First Baptist Norman Park relies on its members to support the ministry and carry out much of the work required to fulfill our mission—to help as many people as possible come to know Jesus.
We operate with minimal staff, budget, and programming because we trust the Holy Spirit to work through the transformed hearts of our members. Together, we seek to love our community, care for one another, and glorify God in humble and faithful ways.
